1. bring a canvas bag with you when you go shopping (especially grocery shopping)
2. buy items in bulk, and bring your own container
3. re-use fabric, or give it to someone who will (includes fabric stores or fix-it stores)
4. darn the holes in your socks, shoes, or jeans or google someone who can
5. refill your ink cartridges
6. buy recycled paper for printing, and recycle the backside of the paper you use (this could be as simple as writing your “to do” list or your grocery shopping list)
7. walk, bike or roll yourself another way to get to school or work–public transportation!
8. bring your own coffee mug, at least 50% of the time
